The Parochial Church Council for Stranton Church

The Parochial Church Council (PCC), along with the Priest in Charge, is responsible for the overall governance and decision-making of the Ecclesiastical Parish of All Saints, Stranton. It has 26 members. Most are elected, for a three-year term, with one third standing down or seeking re-election each year at the Annual Church Meeting in April. The PCC has a number of teams and sub-comittees which manage and report on specific issues. The core teams are:

The Shared Ministry Team: works on strategic planning for the ministry of the parish, encouraging the congregation to develop their gifts and work together.

The Mission Team: works on outreach and evangelism.

The Youth and Children’s Team: works with the Youth and Children’s Worker to develop our work with the younger groups.

Preaching and Leading Team: all those involved in leading services and preaching.

Music and Worship Team: overall planning of the pattern of worship.

Communications Team: how we reach out to our community of people.

Finance Team: parish finances.

Fabric Team: the care of the church buildings and the community centre.
